Many SSB aspirants believe that clearing the SSB means becoming someone else overnight — louder, bolder, more confident.Chirag’s journey quietly proves otherwise.

"He Didn’t Change Who He Was, he Just Became More of Himself"
A Dream That Felt Familiar
Chirag completed his schooling from Dwarka, New Delhi. Like many aspirants, the idea of the uniform was deeply rooted in family values. It was his parents’ dream to see him in uniform, and over time, it became his own — inspired by the respect and responsibility that came with it.
When he reported to 34 SSB Allahabad for his TES entry, it was his first attempt.
No previous experience.
No SSB exposure.
Just clarity of purpose.
And yet, he got recommended.
Before the Attempt: Knowing What SSB Actually Looks For
Through a friend who was connected to Shashank Sir, Chirag got the opportunity to sit down and understand the entire SSB process in detail. It wasn’t about shortcuts or tricks, it was about what the system actually tests.
That initial discussion made one thing clear to him: preparation wasn’t about mugging answers; it was about understanding himself better.
Chirag decided to join the complete live R2R batch.
Looking back, he describes those 15 days as life-changing — not because they transformed his personality, but because they helped him remove the unnecessary layers.
The Quiet Challenge: GD and Lecturette
Chirag was not someone who spoke easily in groups.
Lecturette and Group Discussion felt intimidating. But instead of forcing confidence, the preparation focused on personalised guidance:
GTO: From Self-Doubt to Consistency
The GTO tasks were initially the most challenging part of the SSB for Chirag, especially because of the group dynamics involved. But with clear guidance, repeated practice, and honest self-assessment, his performance improved day by day. By the end, he wasn’t trying to stand out — yet he naturally did. Consistency and teamwork made him one of the better performers in GTO tasks.
What Chirag Wants Every Aspirant to Know
Chirag shares a message many aspirants overlook:
“SSB doesn’t need you to act differently. It needs you to be real.”
Being natural, he believes, is one of the most critical aspects of SSB. No matter how much you prepare, pretending to be someone else eventually shows. Real success comes from personality development, not personality replacement.
A Subtle Pattern Worth Noticing
Chirag’s story isn’t about dramatic transformations.
It’s about:
