Introduction
Skill India is a flagship initiative launched by the Government of India in July 2015 with the aim to empower the youth by making them job-ready through skill development programs. It envisions creating a workforce that is equipped with the necessary technical and soft skills to meet the demands of the changing job market, both in India and globally.

🔹 Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Policy – A roadmap for creating an ecosystem of skill development.
🔹 National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) – Facilitates public-private partnerships to implement training.
🔹 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) – Provide vocational training to school dropouts and others.
